Tarran Klopp
Research & Policy Assistant
Tarran Klopp serves as Research and Policy Assistant at the Business Council of Alberta, where she works to support BCA’s policy initiatives to advance Alberta’s well-being. Coming from a small town in Alberta, she is deeply passionate about making Alberta a better place for all.
Tarran graduated from Mount Royal University in 2023 with a major in Policy Studies where she discovered her love for public policy and economics. Before joining the Council, Tarran completed an internship with The City of Calgary as a research assistant, expanding her knowledge of policy development in a municipal and provincial setting.
Currently, Tarran is responsible for supporting BCA’s policy work and regular publications; identifying and assessing major policy developments and pertinent third-party studies; and supporting the research and outreach needs of the executive team.
When she’s off the clock, Tarran enjoys hiking and trying out new local restaurants and craft beer in Calgary with her family and friends.
