It is good news for Canadians that action has been taken and our nation’s rail lines will resume operations shortly. While no stoppage is ever preferable, our Council and many groups across the country asked the Federal Government for swift action, and that is what has taken place.
We are pleased to see the government appropriately utilize its authority, moving the dispute to arbitration which will help protect Canadian jobs, businesses, and supply chains.
